Homeless Bird

i chose the book Homeles Bird . it was written by Gloria Whelan. The reason that I choose this book because this book was read by my roommate. she told me the story was easy to understand.i am now on page 15.

Homeless bird is the book which talk about Indian marrisge .In Indian,girls was not treated equally . they couldn't go to school. when they marry . they have to find dowry for their husband. Koly lives in Indian. when she was young . Her parents wanted her to marry. They had to find the dowry for her husband. one day they found her a husband, but they have never seen her husband. i think what i going to happen is her husband had some problems, so they didn't let koly see him .i don't think i am going to like this book ,because it's a kind if boring for me.

My name is Millie. i am from Macau. i like shopping and listening to music. when I was young.Iwas very naughty. i didn't go to school. I always didn't go to school and didn't hand in myassigment. i repeated the class again and again. My mother was very worry about me. one dayshe talked to me and recommended me study aboard . At that time. I realized i have to study. That's the reason why I came to Seattle to study English. Frist time i came to Seattle. I was shocked by the weather, but after few months,i thought i adapt to the weather and the new culture. also i met many friends. i like Seattle. English is very important in this current society.Many companies require English skill when they hire people. In the futue, i want to get a goodjob, so i have to study English.
This quarter i will choose the book Three Desperate Days. I choose this book becaus I think the book is interesting to me. i like to read thriller. i think this book is suitable to me.
